In his new book, Urs Lüthi looks back on 40 years of artistic production. The publication deals not only with his individual works and installations but also with his impressive roster of exhibitions. These range from «Thought Processes Made Visible» (1970) and «Transformer» (1974), both curated by Jean-Christophe Ammann, to the Biennale in Venice (2001) and, most recently, his major retrospective at the Lucerne Museum of Fine Art (2009). Lüthi’s wide-ranging oeuvre demonstrates the importance of exhibition design in presenting his work. Printed on thin paper, the substantial publication contains 500 reproductions and several essays on various aspects of the artist’s oeuvre.
